IMF Releases WAEMU Country Reports

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) released two country reports following the Article IV consultation and discussions with regional institutions of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU):

EY releases 2018 Global Tax Policy Outlook

The outlook for global tax policy in 2018, a recent publication by EY, focuses on global and US tax reform, international tax policy changes, and the drive for countries to pursue greater tax competitiveness. 

The report offers insights from EY tax professionals around the world, and includes chapters on business taxation, the tax work of the OECD, European Union taxation, and various country outlooks.

OECD Releases New Digital Economy Publication

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) released a new report entitled The Digital Economy, Multinational Enterprises and International Investment Policy.

The report looks at "the implications of digitalisation and digital technologies for international investment and investment policy, with a particular focus on digital policies relating to national security and digital policies directed at business operations." [Full Paper]
