On 19 April, during the IMF-World Bank Spring Meetings, ITIC hosted a dinner in Washington, DC with Mukhisa Kituyi, Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). Other distinguished guests from the African Union, COMESA and African embassies joined IMF and World Bank officials and several ITIC sponsor companies for a discussion of the relationship between investment and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
