Fatima Aslan
Program Advisor/ITIC Azerbaijan Representative
Fatima Aslan has served as ITIC’s Program Advisor and Senior Representative in Azerbaijan since 2002. She is the Owner/Founder of ATTAS/Anglo-American in Baku, a group of companies responsible for introducing Azerbaijani and regional markets; HR and outsourcing; trainings and educational courses. Ms. Aslan was awarded the title of Business Lady of Year 2009 and “The First” of Year 2012.
From 2008-2012, Ms. Aslan served as the Chairman of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Businessmen Association (ATIB). She has also previously worked as a protocol assistant to the U.S Ambassador at the U.S. Embassy to Azerbaijan (1994-1997) and in the public relations department and department of science at BP/Statoil Alliance (1992-1994).
In 1980, after graduating from the University of Foreign Languages (Baku), Ms. Aslan was assigned as the head of the Department of Studying Youth of the Baku City Regional Komsomol (Youth Political Organization) Committee. Prior to this assignment, she was elected as Vice Head of Youth Organization at the University.
